PUBLIC NOTICE – KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET TEMPORARY PAUSE OF SERVICES

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet writes: “New year, new system! KYTC is launching a new vehicle information database to improve efficiencies and modernize our system! As we move to a customer-centric system, a temporary pause of services may impact some Kentucky vehicle owners. Please share this post!

The following services will be unavailable during the migration:
► vehicle registration renewals
► vehicle titling and transfers
► disabled parking permit issuance
► license plate issuance

DATES TO KNOW:
➡️ Online vehicle registration renewal will be unavailable starting Dec. 28, 2023
➡️ ALL County Clerk offices will stop motor vehicle and boat services starting Jan. 1 (some will stop on Dec. 29 if offices are closed for the state holiday)
➡️ Clerks will gradually resume services the week of Jan. 8, 2024.
