Meade County Water experienced a main break this morning in the Area of Brandenburg Road. Our crews are working diligently to get this repaired. There will be around 50 homes without water while they repair the line. If you are without water, you will be under a Boil Water Advisory once your water service is restored. Public Comments: All Meade County citizens are encouraged to bring their questions and concerns to be heard by the solid waste companies so that they might be able to address those both during the work session and their official bids when the bid is put out. Depending on number of people who sign up to speak, there maybe a 3-minute time limit for public comment speakers.

U.S. Army Fort Knox – NOTICE OF INCREASED TRAINING NOISE
Military training through March 4 on Fort Knox may be louder than normal at times. Exercises involving aircraft, maneuvers and weapons firing in daytime and nighttime hours are an important aspect of maintaining critical capabilities and readiness of all units. This notice is provided as a courtesy for residents of the greater Fort Knox area.
Increased noise and vibrations may be experienced during this period.

From the Meade County Clerk’s OfficeNotice Of Office Closure:
As things are improving daily, we are still experiencing some challenges with the new motor vehicle system. With that being said, the Meade County Clerk’s Office will be closed on Thursday, February 15th, 2024, to attend meetings in Frankfort. This is so that the staff may receive additional training and updated information concerning the new system. We are doing our best to serve each of you and want all the knowledge necessary to do it effectively and efficiently.
We are already seeing smoother waters ahead as we progress forward! We are seeing less issues with renewals, trailers can now be renewed, most transfers are successful without issue.
