PUBLIC NOTICE – TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Traffic Advisory – KY 933 in Meade County
Beginning Tuesday (May 2nd), a bridge deck restoration and waterproofing project will begin on the KY 933 (Olin Road) bridge over Doe Run Dam in Meade County. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a temporary signal controlling alternating one-way traffic until the anticipated completion date of June 1st. No wide loads will be permitted to pass.

PUBLIC NOTICE – COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE CLOSED 4/20
Meade County Clerk’s Office will be closing at 2:30 today, April 20, 2023. There is a nationwide outage that has effected the system we use for our vehicle registration. They have identified the issue and will implement the fix over night. We apologize for the inconvenience.

PUBLIC NOTICE – FIRE HAZARD SEASON
The periods commencing on February 15 and ending on April 30 and commencing on October 1 and ending on December 15 of each year are hereby declared to be and established as the fire hazard seasons. During the fire hazard seasons, even though the precautions required by KRS 149.375 shall have been taken, it shall be unlawful for any person to set fire to, or to procure another to set fire to, any flammable material capable of spreading fire, located in or within one hundred fifty feet (150′) of any woodland or brushland, except between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., prevailing local time, or when the ground is covered with snow.

Please join us on Saturday April 22nd from 9 AM – Noon at the Buttermilk Falls Walking Trail entrance to celebrate the 1rst Annual Buttermilk Falls Walking Trail Day. There will be a variety of activities including:
- Trail History Narratives
- Rides for People who cannot walk the trail
- Buttermilk Falls T-Shirts and Walking Sticks for sale (Proceeds support the trail)
- Wildflower Planting
- Trail Clean up

PUBLIC NOTICE
BUDGET HEARING REGARDING PROPOSE USE OF COUNTY ROAD AID (CRA) AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE (LGEA) FUNDS.
A public hearing will be held by Meade County Fiscal Court at the Meade County Courthouse, 516
Hillcrest Dr. Ste. 12, Brandenburg KY 40108 on Monday, April 24th, 2023, at 5:00 pm for the
purpose of obtaining citizens comments regarding the possible uses of the County Road Aid (CRA)
and Local Government Economic Assistance (LGEA) Funds.
All interested persons in Meade County are invited to the hearing to submit verbal comments.
Written comments on possible uses of the CRA and LGEA Funds will be accepted at the above
address or emailed to treasurer(@meadeky.gov. Any person(s) who cannot submit written comments
ot attend the public hearing but wish to submit comments, should call the Office of the county
Judge/Executive at 270-422-3967 by Friday, April 21″ , 2023, so the arrangements can be made to
secure their comments.
