Opportunity to Bid

The Meade County Fiscal Court will be accepting sealed bids for the design and built structure of a 70×90 red iron metal building at the Meade County Recycle Center.  Sealed bids should be remitted to Meade County Judge/Executive’s Office at 516 Hillcrest Drive Brandenburg, KY 40108 no later than Monday, December 9^th, 2024, by 4:00 p.m.  Meade County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted.

Bid Specs

Design and Built Structure of a 70×90 Red Iron Metal Building

• Open front  
• Gable roof – 2/12 pitch with gutters  
• Metal siding on both sides and back of building  
• 5 -9×10 manual chain roll up doors  
• Insulation on roof only – roll insulation  
• LED lighting – 20 light fixtures evenly spaced  
• 10 outside LED lights evenly spaced  
• 208 3 phase ran to baler  
• 400-amp panel box  
• Cut 3 foot off of existing concrete pad and repour 3 foot and add a retaining wall for future loading dock  
• Description of how the work will be performed and the time frame
• Pre-design meeting to be set up with Director on his building sketch
• Contractors are responsible for their own mess and will be contained and cleaned up accordingly. 
• Must be bonded and insured time of completion date
