Military training through March 4 on Fort Knox may be louder than normal at times. Exercises involving aircraft, maneuvers and weapons firing in daytime and nighttime hours are an important aspect of maintaining critical capabilities and readiness of all units. ​ ​The USA PATRIOT Act requires all drivers transporting hazardous materials to undergo a security threat assessment. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA)​ developed a program to implement this requirement.
