The entrance is on KY 448 (Broadway) just east of St. John The Apostle Church at 515 Broadway.
Dianna’s Park was built in memory of Dianna Marie Powers. She had completed first grade at St. John’s School when she went to be with God in June, 1999. The park is now being maintained by Meade County Fiscal Court. It is the hope of Dianna’s family and friends that God will bless and keep each and every child who gets a chance to play at the well equipped children’s playground.
Fiscal Court was awarded a 2013 Crumb Rubber Grant of $58,800. Wood mulch was removed and replaced with crumb rubber, the entrance was improved with concrete, hedges and trees were pruned, and Mr. Don Skeeters replaced any damaged materials and parts.
We appreciate each visitor assisting in keeping this playground clean.
